EGR Fault Diagnosis & Specialist Solutions

Professional EGR Diagnostics, Fault Finding & ECU Software Solutions

Are you experiencing problems with your Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system? Is your vehicle suffering from poor performance, rough idling, increased fuel consumption or engine management warning lights?

At Elite Tuning Ltd, we specialise in identifying, diagnosing and resolving EGR-related faults using professional diagnostic equipment, specialist ECU software and proven methods.

Our aim is to identify the underlying cause of EGR problems and provide reliable, cost-effective solutions without unnecessary repairs or component replacements.

What Is an EGR System?

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is an emissions control device fitted to many modern diesel and petrol vehicles.

Its primary purpose is to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by recirculating a controlled amount of exhaust gas back into the engine's intake system.

By reducing combustion temperatures, the EGR system helps vehicles meet modern emissions standards.

However, over time, EGR systems can develop faults due to carbon deposits, sticking valves, electrical failures, faulty sensors or problems with the EGR control system.

When these issues occur, the vehicle may experience reduced engine performance, increased fuel consumption, hesitation, rough idling or engine management warning lights.

Common EGR Problems We Can Help With

✔️ ECU Software & Programming Problems

✔️ EGR-Related Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Specialist EGR Software Solutions

Not every EGR problem requires an expensive replacement valve.

In certain circumstances, EGR-related faults may be resolved through professional diagnostics, ECU software updates, programming, adaptations or other appropriate repairs.

At Elite Tuning Ltd, we use specialist diagnostic equipment and advanced ECU software tools to investigate EGR faults and determine the most suitable solution for each vehicle.

Unlike simply clearing fault codes, our approach focuses on identifying the underlying cause of the problem and recommending an appropriate solution.

Our approach is straightforward: diagnose the fault, identify the cause and provide a reliable solution.

Why Choose Elite Tuning Ltd?
